All Is Revealed . . .

At long last, here are the new rules for Book Slam 2010!!

TO REGISTER TO PLAY

1)Send an email to teenbookslam@queenslibrary.org

2)In the email, include
a)Your name (no LAST NAMES)
b)Your age
c)The library you visit most often (here's the list of Queens Library locations: LIST)

3) The moderator will send you an approval to say you are registered to play.
The Queens Teen Book Slam is for Teens ages 13 - 18 ONLY!
If you are younger than 13 but will be in at least 6th grade in September, you may play WITH YOUR PARENT'S PERMISSION. Email teenbookslam@queenslibrary.org for more information.

TO PLAY

There will be five books this year. You may read them in ANY ORDER and answer questions as you finish the books BEGINNING 7/1/10. The last day to submit answers for any books will be 8/13/10.

When you complete a book, email teenbookslam@queenslibrary.org to tell the moderator which book you are ready to slam. She will reply with your questions.

Each trivia question you answer correctly is a point. As in the past summers, we will keep track of your scores and let you know how you're doing.

PRIZES

Everyone who participates (reads and answers questions for at least 1 book) will receive a prize.

The TOP 5 trivia contest scores will win special prizes.
